Quality

To ensure the reliability of the results, which are measured by Dekati products, all the systems delivered are thoroughly tested before shipping. The testing ensures that the device is working properly and the results are comparable to other devices. The testing is done by comparing the system to another system, called as the reference system. The reference systems we use are calibrated at the Aerosol physics laboratory of Tampere University of Technology.

The quality of the products is built already in the manufacturing process. While the products are manufactured, the critical parameters are adjusted and measured in coordinated way.

All the data gathered from these measurements and tests are stored in our databases, which have a good backup procedure. Any measurement done to any device shipped from Dekati can be verified afterwards if needed. This includes new devices or devices which are serviced at Dekati.

Because of the demands from customers and to further develop its own procedures, Dekati has launched a quality program, which aims to certificate ISO 9000:2000 quality system. At first step the quality system is built to the manufacturing process of Dekati. After the quality system is installed to cover the manufacturing process, the same system is going to be installed to other processes of Dekati. When finished, the quality system is going to be enhanced so, that it fulfills the needs set by medical industry (GMP and GAMP).

To ensure the progress of the development of the quality system, a Quality Manager is named to the organization. The Quality Manager is also a member of the management board of Dekati.
