Dekati introduced a new product during the International Aerosol conference IAC 2010 in Helsinki. The new product, ELPI+, is a new improved version of the widely used ELPI instrument for measuring real-time particle size distribution. The ELPI+ gained a lot of interest both at the Dekati exhibition booth and during the conference presentations where data from the new instrument was presented. Since 19th of May, 2009, Erkki Lamminen has been working as the acting CEO at Dekati Ltd. His position was made permanent by the company board 22nd of June, 2010, and he is working now as the CEO of Dekati Ltd. Erkki has been working for Dekati for the past 10 years.

Dekati Ltd. organises a particle measurement seminar in Firenze, Italy 23rd of September, 2010. During the seminar, Dekati engineers will present details of Dekati particle measurement solutions for different measurement applications.

Ville Niemelä has been nominated as the Director of Research and Development starting 1st of March 2010. Ville's previous position was regional sales manager and product manager for automotive application.

Elisa Korin has started working as the Production Manager starting 1st of March, 2010. Elisa has previously been responsible for quality testing.

A VPR system based on Dekati^® DEED has been announced to be the Golden standard for a PMP VPR calibration. Calibration study will consists of round robin measurements at several laboratories in Europe.

A new ISO standard is released for Stationary source PM10 and PM2.5 emission measurements:

ISO 23210: Stationary source emissions — Determination of PM10/PM2,5 mass concentration in flue gas — Measurement at low concentrations by use of impactors

Dekati® PM-10 -impactor meets the standard requirements and is validated for these measurements.  A recommended setup is to have the impactor inside the stack but if this is not possible a heated impactor setup is also possible.

Year 2008 has been very successful for Dekati Ltd. due to the strong efforts of the sales network, company personnel and management. Dekati Ltd. has firmly established itself on the particulate measurement field and is ready to face new challenges.

Dekati Ltd. shareholders meeting, held on 19^th of May 2009, has nominated a new company board with Dr. Mikko Moisio as the chairman of the board. The newly elected board enhances corporate governance, product sales and enables efficient actions in an evolving market environment. A separate scientific advisory board has been formed to support company progress.

CEO of Dekati Ltd., Taavi Hiltunen has resigned due to personal reasons. Senior Product Manager Erkki Lamminen has been nominated as acting CEO. Lamminen has been working with the company since 2000. His previous assignments have included work in R&D, sales and in the company management team. In addition to the tasks as the CEO, Lamminen will continue his regional sales and product management duties as before.

Dekati Ltd. has assigned a distributor to Belgium and the Netherlands. Envicontrol (Envitec nv) has started co-operation with Dekati in the beginning of 2009 and is now an official Dekati distributor in the Benelux countries. Envicontrol has offices in Merelbeke, Belgium and Waardenburg, the Netherlands thus giving customers in these areas an easier access to support and service on Dekati products.
