FPS-4000 can be used in stationary source (i.e. power plant) applications as a dilution system for any and all particle and gaseous measurement devices. The robust stainless steel construction makes the FPS-4000 an ideal solution for the harsh conditions associated with stationary source measurements. The FPS-4000 can be effectively used for example in the following applications in the combustion sector:

Dilution pre- and post flue gas treatment devices
- Variable dilution ratio for different PM concentrations
Dilution for all particle and gas measurements including real-time and gravimetric measurements
- High output of diluted sample enables simultaneous dilution for multiple instruments
Can be applied to small and large scale stacks at various measurement locations
- Accessories available for isokinetic sampling with heated dilution for different stack sizes
Can be used to condense vaporous matter for different analysis needs
- Accurately controlled cooled dilution possible

The recommended accessories for the stationary source application are easily available in a single package FPS-4503 – Accessories for full stack sampling. The package includes the following items:

DH-1723 Pressurised air heater for dilution air
- For heated dilution air up to 350°C

FPS-4230 Stack heater, pre-cut cyclone and one nozzle for isokinetic sampling
- For large stacks, includes a 2.5 µm-cut mini-cyclone

ELA-419, set of 5 sampling nozzles for the mini-cyclone
- For isokinetic sampling

FPS-4001 Pressurised air filtration and drying unit
- For conditioning the dilution air to eliminate unwanted artefacts

FPS-4005 Automatic pressure controller
- For automatic control of the FPS operating pressure

ELA-424 Mobile rack for Dekati instruments Can house either FPS+DMM or FPS+ELPI, must be specified when ordering.
- For easy transfer of instruments between measurement locations

ELA-441 Extension cable set (8m)
- For increased flexibility in placement of the sampling probe
