After treatment device development

Due to the wide dynamic range of the DMM it can be used both upstream and downstream of any after treatment device (oxidation catalysts, particle filters, open filters, SCR catalysts and so on). With a proper sampling system (e.g. Dekati® FPS) the DMM can be connected directly to the tailpipe and the PM removal efficiency can be seen immediately.
