Applications

The rigid stainless steel structure of the DLPI makes is suitable for a wide range of applications. The impactor can be heated up to 200 ºC (up tp 400 ºC for special request) and used for taking sample from different industrial processes where the sample is in high temperature, or it can be used for outdoor air monitoring in ambient conditions. Typical applications for the DLPI impactor include power plant and vehicle emission measurements, engine blow-by gas measurements, air quality studies and pharmaceutical device testing. The DLPI enables both gravimetric and chemical size distribution determination by using different types of collection substrates as collection media.
